Mother Nature has played her cruel joke on us this week. Don’t fret… there’s things you can do if you just planted fresh flowers. Take a sheet, some sticks and rocks. Fashion a kind of tent to protect them. If you have time to stop by Down to Earth we sell frost cloth which is excellent and can be reused from year to year. It’s also good to prolong the blooms in the fall.
Besides the snow and cold, spring is sure to be here for good any day now! We have a full selection of cold weather vegetables and annuals and a gorgeous selection of tropical patio plants. The tropicals will need to stay indoors still, but if you get them now you get the pick of the crop – and they are beautiful, the best we’ve had!
